THE WIDGET GUIDE

Give your screen
more to do.

A widget is a live or interactive piece of your design. Put it where you want, size it to fit, and choose the slides where it belongs. Here is what each one can do.

Slideshow

Available on Plan: Free, Premium & Advance

Give a part of your design its own rotating picture gallery. Keep your prices and logo in place while photos change inside the widget.

Try it like this

Show finished haircuts at a barber shop, recent projects in a lobby, or food photos next to a menu.

Make it yours

Upload pictures, arrange their order, resize the gallery, and choose which slides show it.

Uploaded pictures can be downloaded by supported players for offline display.

YouTube

Available on Plan: Free, Premium & Advance

Add a YouTube video or a playlist without uploading a separate video file to your design.

Try it like this

Play a product demonstration, a workout video, your own promotional clips, or an embeddable live stream.

Make it yours

Add video links and arrange the playlist. Position the video beside your menu or other content.

Requires internet and permission from YouTube to embed the video. A YouTube widget does not extend the main slide duration.

Social Media & Google Embeds

Available on Plan: Free, Premium & Advance

Bring supported public Facebook, Instagram, and X content into your screen using a link or supported embed code. Google Maps embeds can also show your business location.

Try it like this

Show a recent Instagram post, a Facebook announcement, an X update, or a map customers can recognize.

Make it yours

Paste a supported public URL or official embed, then size and position the widget in your design.

Requires internet. Private posts and some provider embeds cannot be displayed. This is not an automatic Google reviews-feed service.

Click or Touch Event

Available on Plan: Free, Premium & Advance

Turn an area of your design into something a visitor can tap. Use it to open additional content when someone wants to know more.

Try it like this

Let a customer tap a dish for more details or open a gallery with additional product pictures.

Make it yours

Place the touch area, choose the action, and add the content visitors should see.

Needs a supported touch or pointer-enabled player. Custom HTML event content requires Advance; online content needs internet.

Custom HTML

Available on Plan: Advance

Add your own HTML or a supported third-party embed when you need something beyond the built-in widgets.

Try it like this

Show an existing web dashboard, a custom information panel, or a branded component made for your business.

Make it yours

Paste the HTML or embed code and give it the space it needs in the design.

Some sites block embedding or require sign-in. External scripts and websites generally need internet and compatible player support.

Customizable Weather

Available on Plan: Advance

Build a weather panel that fits your layout instead of using only the basic weather display.

Try it like this

Show a local forecast in a waiting room, a hotel lobby, or a shop window. Customers outside the US can use a city and country.

Make it yours

Choose the location, available forecast days, units, colors, and layout options. The panel adapts to its widget size.

Live updates need internet; forecast availability depends on the configured weather provider. Basic Weather Forecast is included in every plan.

Google Sheets

Available on Plan: Advance

Use a spreadsheet as the source for menu items, descriptions, prices, or a table. Change the sheet instead of editing every item in the design.

Try it like this

Maintain a café menu, mark items available or unavailable, or display a list of ticket and window numbers.

Make it yours

Choose a menu, table, or individual-item layout. Use automatic columns or assign them in the sheet. Select a background, including transparent, and how to handle overflowing content.

The sheet must be shared or published as required by the widget. Refreshes need internet; Google caching can delay changes. Do not publish private customer data.

Customer Queue

Available on Plan: Advance

Connect customer check-in, staff tablets, and a now-serving display so your team can manage the line together.

Try it like this

Customers enter their names on a check-in tablet or scan a QR code with their phones. Staff members call the next customer from their own tablets.

Make it yours

Set the language, name visibility, staff and counter information, colors, borders, and transparent background. Choose whether staff can call anyone or only the next customer. Review waiting and service times in date-range reports and export to Excel.

Check-in, staff actions, and live queue updates require internet. The signage widget is a display; kiosk and staff links open their separate interfaces.

Date & Time

Available on Plan: Free, Premium & Advance

Show the date, time, or both in a style that feels like part of your design.

Try it like this

Add a clear clock to a waiting room or place the date beside daily announcements in an office.

Make it yours

Choose the font, text color, fixed or automatic sizing, date format, 12/24-hour time, and background or transparency. Use device time or a selected timezone.

The clock can keep running offline. Its accuracy depends on the device having the correct date and time.

Announcements

Available on Plan: Free, Premium & Advance

Keep a collection of short messages in one place and decide which ones should be active.

Try it like this

Show holiday hours, staff reminders, daily specials, or a welcome message. Schedule a message to appear only within its start and end dates.

Make it yours

Enter messages manually, choose colors and a display style, and rotate them with no animation, a fade, or directional slide effects. You can also show only the first active message.

Manual messages are included in all plans. Google Sheets and API content sources require Advance; online sources need internet.

QR Code

Available on Plan: Free, Premium & Advance

Give visitors a simple way to take the next step on their phones without typing a long address.

Try it like this

Link to an online menu, your website, a booking page, a public check-in page, or a feedback form.

Make it yours

Enter the destination and customize the code to fit your design. Keep enough contrast and space around it so phones can scan it easily.

Manually entered QR content is included in all plans. Google Sheets and API sources require Advance. A code can display offline, but opening an online destination needs internet on the phone.

A few things worth knowing.

Start in the Design Studio

Open Insert → Widget, choose a widget, and configure it. Move and resize it on the design, select its slides, then save and publish. Availability follows the plan assigned to that screen.

Basic weather is included

Every plan includes Basic Weather Forecast. The fully customizable Weather widget above is an Advance feature.

Schedule the whole slide, too

Set a date range, daily time window, and selected weekdays for a slide. It is a screen feature, separate from widgets. Use an updated player that supports scheduling.

Live content, embedded websites, and interactive features depend on the provider and player. Keep your player updated and test your design on the device you will use.
